Messier 33, Triangulum Galaxy

Messier 33, also known as the Triangulum Galaxy, is a stunning spiral galaxy located in the constellation Triangulum. At about 3 million light-years from Earth, it is the third-largest member of the Local Group, which includes the Milky Way and Andromeda galaxies. M33 spans roughly 60,000 light-years across and is home to hundreds of billions of stars. Its well-defined spiral arms are rich in star-forming regions, including the massive H II region NGC 604, one of the largest stellar nurseries known. With its relatively bright core and intricate structure, Messier 33 is a popular target for both amateur and professional astronomers.
