Messier 45, The Pleiades

Messier 45, also known as the Pleiades or the Seven Sisters, is one of the most famous open star clusters in the night sky. Located in the constellation Taurus, it lies about 440 light-years from Earth and contains over 1,000 stars, though only a few are visible to the naked eye. The cluster is easily recognizable by its bright blue stars, which are surrounded by a faint reflection nebula caused by interstellar dust reflecting their light. The Pleiades have been known since ancient times and hold cultural significance in many mythologies around the world.
