After a long hike with a heavy backpack, I was able to take my first widefield pictures of the Milky Way and dusk. The moonless night was beautiful and you could see the Milky Way with the naked eye. Since I didn't have a widefield lens at that time, I was allowed to use my father's Nikon camera and 20mm zoom lens. With my own equipment I wanted to take deep sky pictures with my 135mm lens, but unfortunately the strong wind blurred the pictures so much that I had to throw away all of the subframes. The following night was frighteningly cold, despite the high summer temperatures during the day and short thanks to the intense wind noise. Nevertheless, it was worth making this trip.
