Object Details

The Lobster Claw Nebula is located in the constellation of Scorpius. It is also known as NGC 6357 or Sharpless 11. A petition by anime fans to rename it the Madokami Nebula due to its resemblance to a character was unsuccessful. It is located around 5'500 lightyears away from Earth.

NGC 7653 is better known as the Bubble Nebula. There is a quite popular Hubble image of this nebula. It is about 7'100 lightyears away from Earth.

Messier 52 is an open star cluster. Like the Bubble Nebula, it is located in the constellation Cassiopeia.
