Orion Nebula
The Orion Nebula also known as Messier 42 or NGC 1976 is a diffuse nebula in the constellation Orion. Diffuse Nebulae are extended and do not contain well defined boundaries. Emission, reflection and dark nebulae are all diffuse nebulae. This Nebula is about 24 Lightyears across and has a mass of about 2'000 suns.

Running Man Nebula
Sh2-279 is an HII-Region that includes a reflection nebula. Sh2-279 includes the three NGC Nebulae NGC 1973, 1975, 1977 as well as the open cluster NGC 1981. This Nebula is probably my favourite in the night sky.
