LBN 248 (or DWB 84) is an emission / reflection nebula in constellation Cygnus. It is located less than one degree NE from the bright star Sadr (γ Cygni), which light can be sees in the bottom right corner. Around LBN 248 (in the middle of the image) are situated some 15-20 stars, which are catalogued as open cluster Dolidze 6 (very questionable). Inside of Dolidze 6 can be found the open cluster BD+40°4124, a small group of very young stars. The brightest members of this cluster are BD+40°4124, V1686 Cyg (LkHA 224) and V1318 Cyg (LkHA 225), which are Herbig Ae/Be stars. Most of the stars of the BD+40°4124 cluster are only visible in infrared light due to the strong interstellar extinction.
