NGC 5005, also known as Caldwell 29, and NGC 5033 are both galaxies and are located in the constellation Canes Venatici.

NGC 5005 is a spiral galaxy. Distance measurements for NGC 5005 vary from 45 million light years to 113 million light years. 

NGC 5033 is also a spiral galaxy. The distance measurements for NGC 5005 range from 38 million light years to 80 million light years. The nucleus of this galaxy is classified as Seyfert type. It is believed to contain a supermassive black hole.
