The Whale Galaxy a can be found in the constellation Canes Venatici. The Galaxy is catalogued as NGC 4631 or Caldwell 32 and can be seen from the northern hemisphere during Spring. The Galaxy is about 30 million light years away from the solar system. This galaxy is classified as a barred spiral galaxy and its centre is a so-called starburst region. This means that a lot of stars are forming in its centre.
NGC 4656 & NGC 4657 this galaxy is highly warped but also classified as a barred spiral galaxy.
